Full Clubhouse Closure including Cafe
As everyone knows, we find ourselves in a most unusual and unprecedented situation, facing a pandemic that poses a serious risk to the Blue Ridge community.
In particular, the Clubhouse may have been contaminated today by exposure to someone who MAY HAVE BEEN exposed to the Covid-19 virus. The HOA is not permitted by law to disclose the identity of the person who may have had such contact, however, rest assured that all appropriate and necessary steps have been taken to alert anyone who may have been exposed to this person and to safeguard their health.
As a result of this recent development, the HOA Board of Directors voted unanimously to immediately close the Clubhouse completely to protect the health and welfare of the staff and the residents of Blue Ridge.
This virus has created an extremely serious threat to the health and welfare of the general public but is even a greater threat to the elderly (over 60) and health-compromised residents of Blue Ridge. While the HOA Board regrets any inconvenience that the closure of the Clubhouse and the Cafe may cause the staff and residents, our focus must be on avoiding any chance of exposure to the virus.
We are investigating the feasibility of having the Clubhouse professionally cleaned and will reopen the Clubhouse and the Cafe as soon as it is safe to do so.
We thank you for your patience in these difficult times and appreciate our Cafe operator Norman’s offer of assistance to the Cafe’s customers. It is that spirit of community that will help us get through this ordeal.
Thank you for your understanding,
Blue Ridge HOA
