The weather is getting better and the golf course is OPEN. We hope residents continue to make use of this amenity.
Blue Ridge shut down the temporary greens and the main greens are open for play.
Here are some safety rules to follow when golfing until the coronavirus crisis relaxes.
-
At tee boxes, fairways and greens, practice “social distancing” at all times. 6 – 10 feet is advised.
-
The pin holder for the flag sticks will be installed INVERTED so that the ball can be retrieved easier and safer. DO NOT remove the flagstick.
-
Avoid handshaking or fist bumps.
- Wash hands before and after the round.
- The greens are still waking up and should be restricted to golfers only.
- The tee box on 1 and 8 is under renovation and closed. Use the temporary tee area on these holes.
- All other posted Rules by the Golf Shack apply.
- Failure to adhere to these rules may force the course to be closed.
