Dear Residents,
The members of the Blue Ridge Condo 2 Board of Managers have observed many residents and their guests walking to and from the buildings using pathways other than the permanent sidewalk paths provided and maintained by the association. These pathways may have been intentionally created by residents using gravel or stepping stones, or may consist of a worn-down dirt path resulting from the foot traffic on these ‘shortcuts’ through the years.
The Board wishes to discourage the use of these pathways for the sake of your safety. The board members are regularly inspecting the permanent concrete pathways, looking for cracks and uneven surfaces and repairing them promptly to ensure your safety. There is no such procedure for these makeshift pathways.
If you or your guests are injured while walking on the permanent concrete pathways, you may be able to recoup any out of pocket medical expenses resulting from your injury. If you or your guests are injured while traversing the property using a makeshift / decorative pathway, it is NOT our intention to cover any out of pocket medical expenses resulting from your injury.
Please advise any guests, delivery people, or other visitors of this and encourage them to be safe by accessing the buildings via the permanent concrete pathways ONLY.
Thank you,
Blue Ridge Condominium 2 Board of Managers
